Cancellation & Returns

Returns Policy

If you discover that there is a fault or issue with a product that you have purchased please contact use immediately at info@healthfoodgrocers.com, or call us on (07) 5448 1241. Please clearly explain what is wrong with your product and we will contact you within 24 hours to arrange a refund or exchange and to instruct you on how to return the faulty product to us.

If you ordered an item in error then we will arrange to provide you with a store credit however please be aware that Health Food Grocers Pty Ltd reserve the right to charge the cost of returning replacement goods to you if ordered in error. Any goods returned to us must be in original unopened packaging.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at sales@healthfoodgrocers.com with the reason for the exchange and we will issue you with an RMA and give you further instructions.

Order Cancellations/ Modifications.

Order cancellations or modifications must be communicated by you to Health Food Grocers at sales@healthfoodgrocers.com before 2pm Eastern Time.

Health Food Grocers will use its best efforts to honor order cancellation or modifications submitted. Notwithstanding, Health Food Grocers does not guarantee any changes can be made to an order after it has been submitted.

Freight charges

Unless the item is faulty you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Shipping

At Health Food Grocers we aim to make your entire shopping experience as simple and cost effective as possible. We know there is nothing more annoying than being hit with expensive shipping costswhen you go to check out so we have decided to introduce a simple flat rate of $9.95 on all orders no matter where in mainland Australia you live. This way you know exactly what you are up for cost wise when you place your order. In addition if you order over $99.00 we will ship you your order for free (again anywhere in mainland Australia).

We endeavour to despatch your orders within 2 days of receipt, and most days we will get your order out the very next day. One of the draw backs of offering thousands of products at great prices is that we ocaisionally run out of stock and it may take 3-4 days for us to receive goods from our suppliers. If this is the case we will let you know via email so you know to expect your delivery a few days later than normal.

All orders are sent via Australia Post and normally take between 3-4 days from time of despatch from our warehouse depending on where you live. Please note the following:

  • Unless 'authority to leave' is given at the time of order, a signature is required on delivery.

  • a card will be left by Australia Post with instructions on how to collect your parcel. This card/notification generally means that your parcel is waiting for you at a local post office. Note, you may need to present this card to the post office upon pick up with photo identification.

  • If you do not pick up your parcel within 10 working days of receiving a card, it will be returned to our warehouse. Health Food Grocers Pty Ltd reserve the right to charge an additional $9.95 to redeliver your parcel. We DO NOT offer refunds for any order if you opt not to pay the additional fee to have your parcel redelivered.

Authority to Leave Terms & Conditions

  • By opting for "Authority to Leave" Healthy Being will instruct the associated courier service to leave your parcel at your unattended premises in accordance with your instructions.

  • You agree that the parcel is deemed received when left at your premises and Health Food Grocers Pty Ltd (and Australia Post) do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage which may result after. You agree to release Health Food Grocers Pty Ltd against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, and expenses, including consequential losses, suffered or incurred by you or any other person as a result of this Authority to Leave.

Goods will not be shipped until payment (cleared funds) has been received in full. All goods remain the property of Health Food Grocers Pty Ltd until fully paid for.
